Gas work is serious — leave it to a licensed pro

Gas lines are not a DIY job. As a licensed plumbing contractor (ROC 333866), we install, repair, and test residential gas lines to code. From hooking up a new range or water heater to running a line for a fire pit or BBQ, we do it safely and pull permits where required.

What we do

  • New gas line installation and extensions
  • Appliance hookups — ranges, water heaters, dryers, fire pits, BBQ stub-outs
  • Gas leak detection and repair
  • Pressure testing and code-compliant, permitted work

What every homeowner should know about gas lines

What causes gas line problems

Gas issues usually come from corroded or aging pipe, loose or improper connections, or lines that were undersized for appliances added later. Any new gas appliance needs a properly sized, code-compliant line and connection.

When to call a plumber

Call to add or move a gas line; hook up a new range, water heater, dryer, fire pit, or BBQ stub-out; or if an appliance isn’t getting enough gas. Gas work should always be done by a licensed contractor and permitted where required.

Is it an emergency?

Yes — if you smell gas (a rotten-egg odor), hear hissing, or feel lightheaded, leave the home immediately and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Don’t flip switches or light anything. Once it’s safe, we’ll locate and repair the leak.

How to prevent it

Have new appliance hookups done professionally, don’t overload an existing line, and if your home is older, have your gas lines inspected so small problems are caught before they become dangerous.
